The light has a good quality metal housing with the capability to recharge. I found the orange traffic cone attachment to be quite flimsy. I know that part isn't meant to be sturdy and is only intended for signaling, but it was fairly thin plastic. It can be difficult to get the threads started, but it does work once it catches the thread. The cone part is small, so you won't be directing aircraft with it, but it should work fine for directing traffic, or just generally signaling in an emergency. It is useful to have on hand, so I keep it in the glove box of the car. The flashlight is great for going to and from the car in the dark. It holds a charge for a long time, so it can sit for months in the glove box until you are ready to use it and still be bright enough.The housing is designed with an easy-to-grip part in the center. Your fingers fit into the grooved part and you can get a secure hold on it. This would be useful if you use it in the rain. You do have the option to use regular AAA batteries, as it come with a small insert to hold them, instead of the rechargeable one. The light on the side of the flashlight will glow green when fully charged and red while it is in the process of charging. You can adjust the beam from spot to flood too. The light has a high beam, low beam and a strobe function. It comes with an attached belt clip, plus you get a lanyard, a charging cable, the cone, and the battery insert. It's a good value, in my opinion, for a small traffic wand.

These things may not be very long, but they absolutely get the job done! Theyre bright and they can be seen day or night while directing vehicles. I'd purchase more if I needed to replace these ones for any reason.
