Good for other uses as well

This is a well made holster and good for things that will fit into it, not just flashlights. I bought this holster mainly to hold my 3oz pepper spray can in. The only problem is that the flap does not come down far enough for the button clasp to connect. I was really disappointed because I really like the way this looks and is made. I then came up with a solution and placed one small square velcro strip that I had to use in place of the button clasp (from half a pack). You can get these in most stores or online.I added pictures, one of the front, with the can inside (I like how the name of this holster is called UltraFire). Then I showed the back of the holster. I know there are no pics of this from the seller so I hope that helps. I guess I got that velcro idea because on the bottom of the strap there is a combination of the button clasp and velcro. You can wrap this around your belt too. Also there's a hook thing at the top. The next pic shows the velcro I added holding down the flap. It's not the best looking but it holds. Finally I added a pic of the pepper spray I have that's in the holster. I may look around later for a better holster later but this works for now. Hope this review was helpful for people looking for a way to carry there large pepper spray can around.

So so

Seams already ripped gave it a 3 because my husband is rough on things but it should have lasted longer in my opinion

appropriate for nitroglycerine, either size

The Nitro bottles I have come in two small sizes. The bigger size fits snugly in the holster, but I use crumpled typing paper to fill the gaps for the smaller bottle. However, since I wear pants with a watch pocket (like Levi jeans), I am not wearing the holster any more. I just put the small bottle in the Jean watch pocket. It was uncomfortable using the holster under my shirt, because the shirt looked awkward and felt awkward. Interestingly, the big bottle of nitro fits perfectly in the pocket, but I had to put some Velco onto the flap to bring the flap down further on the pocket so it is snug. It works, but as I say, I just put the bottle into my pant's watch pocket now.

Good protection but the strap (snap) is weak.

It keep falling (unsnapping) off my belt. There is a second loop under the snap loop so that's a saver, but not sure why they bothered by a snap system that will just pop off. It's pretty durable other than that. I can work with what I have.
