What does CRI 90+ mean, and why does it matter?
CRI measures how accurately a light shows colors. With CRI 90+ light, the SZ3 helps you tell similar wire colors and surface details apart during inspections and repairs.
How long does the battery last?
The built-in 1,500 mAh battery runs up to 52 hours on floodlight Moonlight and 7 hours on floodlight Low. Spotlight High lasts 65 minutes and Turbo 55 minutes. It recharges over USB-C.
How do the spotlight and floodlight work? Can both run together?
- Spotlight: a focused beam up to 130 m on High, for distance.
- Floodlight: a wide, even beam up to 500 lumens, for close-up work.
- Switching: double-click the main button while the light is on.
- Both together: double-click from off for Turbo, 1,300 lumens and up to 140 m.
How can I use it hands-free?
The 0–100° swivel head holds its position. The magnetic tailcap sticks to steel like hoods and tool chests, and the two-way stainless steel clip fits a pocket, vest or cap brim.
What is the side light for?
- Hazard beacons (3 modes): double-click the side button from off for a slow red flash, red/blue strobe or SOS. Red/blue is for hand-held signaling only. Check local regulations.

Does it get hot?
The head can get warm at high output, especially in Turbo. Head-to-body thermal isolation keeps the body comfortable to hold, and built-in sensors step output down when heat rises.

Yes. On a USB-C power source or power bank, Moonlight, Low and Medium modes work on both beams. Higher modes are not available while charging.
