This is my go-to tool for hunting uranium glass at thrift stores and flea markets. It's so small and light that I just keep it in my purse all the time. The wavelength is perfect—it makes the glass glow like crazy even under the bright fluorescent store lights. Best purchase I've made for my hobby!

Makes scorpions glow bright green from a good distance away. The zoom is super handy for scanning the yard at night before letting the dogs out. Only giving 4 stars because I wish it came with a wrist lanyard so I don't drop it in the dirt.

It puts out a decent amount of UV light and the adjustable focus is a cool feature for scanning ground. However, it lets out a bit too much visible white light along with the UV, which makes it hard to see dimmer fluorescent rocks unless you are in absolute pitch black. It works okay for basic stuff, but I really wish it had a black filter lens.

I use this for curing UV resin on my jewelry projects. Works perfectly and the adjustable beam lets me cure small charms and larger pieces easily.
