I got this flashlight for my husband, and he really likes it. 🔦 It is a nice flashlight and has a good, solid feel to it. He likes having a bright flashlight like this around for when he needs one. It is rechargeable with USB C, which is really convenient, and I like that it has a tail switch that makes it easy to turn on and off. The design is also nice and compact enough that it doesn't feel like you're carrying around something huge. One funny thing is that he actually really liked the little keychain light that came with it. 😂 I wasn't expecting that to be his favorite part, but he thought it was really handy and has been enjoying having it. I'm really happy I picked this up for him. The flashlight itself is nice, and the little keychain light was a fun bonus that he ended up really liking. 🔦😊✨

This is my second Ultrafire flashlight and it's excellent like the first one. Only this one is single function. No bells and whistles, no multi-light settings. Just on and off. At the tail of the light. There's also no focal adjustments. It's just a practical, bright light. That shines a long way and keeps excellent beam integrity while doing it. And it comes with a lanyard you can attach if you want. As far as how much charge it has left, a small LED light above the charging port comes on briefly when you turn the light on. Green, yellow or red. Flashing red when critical. When charging, it goes from red to green. It also comes with a real marvel and surprise. Another light in true EDC fashion. A keychain light with three modes and a tiny little digital percentage LED readout of how much energy it has left. Two brightness levels and on the third click, a strobe. It's so small, but so darned powerful and capable! Very much like the other EDC light I got from them. So anyway, what a treat to get that light with the bigger power-beam flashlight. Which is bigger than the small ones I have several of, but smaller than the normal large flashlights, if that makes sense. The case is aircraft aluminum and has some nice machining on it to allow you to get a good grip on it. The charging ports of both lights are waterproofed with a silicone cover and take the usual USB-C plug. And they included one for each light. The main light is waterproof to two meters and impact resistant at one meter. Considering the two light combo and the performance of each, I think this set is an excellent value.

This was a much nicer flashlight than I was expecting. With that being said, it would not be a good "around the house" flashlight. This light produces a very thin and concentrated beam. It is perfect for long distance use. The thin beam and full-brightness on/off output is perfect for that use. The good news is the keychain light it comes with is also a fantastic bit of kit for up close. The option to choose a bright-white light or a soft-white light is perfect. The soft white option is great for inside The build quality of the main light is what surprised me. The light has a spring for each side of the battery so it stays lit if you drop it. The electronic in the head appear to be potted to help against water intrusion and impacts. The tail click button is recessed below a metal rim on the back of the light so you can stand the light up vertically on a table. This light works great for ceiling bouncing because the reflector lens is very deep. It's hard to accidently blind yourself by looking at the light when it's on. This is a good light for the specific use of seeing things far away.

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with flashlights that have a dozen different modes. Sometimes I just want to turn on a flashlight without clicking through low, medium, high, strobe, SOS, disco party, and whatever else someone decided it needed. This Ultrafire gets major points from me for keeping things simple: on and off. That's it. More importantly, it's extremely bright. This is definitely designed as a long-throw flashlight, with a concentrated beam that reaches an impressive distance rather than flooding a huge area immediately around you. I can see this being particularly useful for camping, checking a large yard or property at night, walking outdoors, or anytime you need to see what's happening farther away. That's also consistent with other users' experiences with the unusually long, concentrated beam. The flashlight itself feels substantial and well made without being ridiculously oversized. There's also a simple color-coded battery indicator, so it's easy to get an idea of how much charge remains. USB-C charging is another big plus. But the unexpected bonus is the little rechargeable EDC keychain flashlight that comes with it. I initially considered that an extra, but it's surprisingly useful in its own right. It's tiny, very bright for its size, has multiple light settings, and even has a digital battery percentage display. The flashlights were both almost fully charged on arrival and I stuck the tiny one into my purse immediately. This feels like two genuinely useful flashlights rather than one flashlight with a throwaway bonus accessory. The main light is powerful, straightforward and built for distance, while the little EDC light handles the everyday stuff.
