I really like the Ultrafire brand. I have a few of their products and one time I had a problem with one. I contacted the company and they got me squared away in no time. Great customer support. And this product seems to be keeping pace with the other products I've had. The feel is solid and controls are simple. The UV light is plenty bright enough to find those things that glow when black light shines on it. Particularly, those darn green horned worms that eat my tomato plants. They are almost the exact color of a tomato plant so they are really hard to find in the day light. But, I go out at night with my black light and they stand out like a sore thumb. Anyway, this light is great for finding them. Did you know you can also find scorpions this way too? It's crazy. So if you're looking for a good black light, this one should fit the bill.

Yes this does operate in the 365nm spectrum which is the holy Grail for black lights. It comes with a good rechargeable battery. It's not weak at all. It actually works quite well. It's not as bright or as powerful as I would like it to be but for the price point it's pretty good.

You should use this to find scorpions and other little things like that. If you walk around your house and shine this light around your refrigerator, your bathroom, above your stove... you will regret it. Not because the product has anything to do with it but because you'll be seeing all the spots that you miss when you clean. Believe me it will be troubling at best

This little aluminum body UV flashlight feels very well built and extremely durable. It has a simple rubber on/off button on the end cap, and the head slides in or out to adjust the focus of the beam, which is very strong (at least compared to other UV lights in this size that I’ve bought). There’s no charging port, since the battery must be removed for charging, though a wall charger is included. The end cap seals with a rubber o-ring and seems secure. The light has a belt clip, but nowhere to attach a wrist strap, which is my only, extremely minor, issue.

In use, this UV light performed wonderfully, easily highlighting all kinds of interesting stuff, even at a pretty good distance. Overall, this is absolutely the best little UV flashlight I’ve ever owned and, while it seems slightly pricey, I think it’s well worth the cost.

This little UV flashlight is both impressive and mildly horrifying. If you have pets, this thing will probably reveal more mystery spots than you ever wanted to know about. I used it on carpet, furniture, and around pet areas, and let’s just say... ignorance really was bliss.

That said, it works. The light is bright, the UV detection is effective, and it made it easy to spot old pet urine stains that are normally invisible to the naked eye. The adjustable focus is also a nice feature, since it lets you narrow or widen the beam depending on where you’re checking.

It came with a battery and a separate charger, which I thought was a little old-school. I would have preferred a built-in USB-C charging port on the flashlight itself, since that just feels more convenient these days. That was my main reason for knocking off a star.

Other than that, it’s a very handy tool to have around, especially for pet owners trying to track down hidden messes before the smell reminds you first. It’s bright, easy to use, and definitely earns its keep.

Very bright and intense so make sure you have up protection or yellow computer glasses since you will be blinded if looking at light too long. The battery included needs about 4-5 to charge when you get it but the included charger is nice and does the job well. I wanted to use this as we have pets and want to see if there are stains as well as if there’s bed bugs or fleas. The main problem and it’s not the products fault is that we have a lot of white sheets and white stuff so it is impossible to tell anything since the whole thing lights up. It can only detect if it is a dark or non cloth material which is a bummer for detecting stains or insects. The price is a little high on Amazon for some reason. If you go to the manufacturer site it is cheaper with free shipping and they give free UV protection glasses which I think is a must for this product. The product is but great though very heavy duty and compact and the adjustable beam telescopes which is nice.
