1,300 lm | CRI 90+ | 0–100°
A 1,300-lumen dual-beam work light with a 0–100° swivel head, magnetic tailcap, and CRI 90+ output. Built for mechanics, electricians, and everyday carry.
Field applications
Tracing wiring under a hood, walking a trail after dark, or setting up camp: the SZ3 puts light right where your hands are working.
Stick it to the hood or a steel panel with the magnetic tailcap, tilt the head down, and see wire colors clearly with high-CRI light. Both hands stay free.
Clip it to a jacket or vest and tilt the head down to read paperwork, inspect a vehicle, or work a roadside scene. Signal modes are one double-click away.
Clip it to a cap brim for hands-free light on the trail. Use the spotlight for distance (up to 140 m in Turbo) and flood for nearby footing.
Stand it upright on a picnic table and use the flood on Low for reading or cooking (7-hour runtime). The 10-mode side light adds a soft glow to camp.
Dual-beam system
Switch between a focused spotlight and a wide flood with a double-click. Add the 0–100° swivel head and magnetic tailcap, and the light stays where you aim it, hands-free.
10–500 lm
Output range
The flood beam spreads soft, even light across your work area for close-up inspections, wiring, and benchwork. Output runs from 10 to 500 lumens.
130 m
140 m with both beams in Turbo
The spotlight's focused optic throws a tight, long beam: 130 m on its own, 140 m with both beams in Turbo. Use it to read a trail, check a fence line, or spot a landmark across a job site.
Specs at a glance
See how the SZ3 compares with typical flat EDC flashlights in battery capacity, beam layout, and color rendering.
| Key Feature / Spec | UltraFire SZ3 | Typical Flat EDC Light | What It Means for You |
|---|---|---|---|
| Color Rendering Index | CRI 90+ | CRI 70–80 | Easier to tell similar wire colors apart |
| Battery Capacity | 1,500 mAh built-in | About 1,100 mAh | 36% more capacity; use it while charging in Moonlight, Low, or Medium |
| Beam Configuration | Separate spot and flood optics | Single emitter | Spot for distance, flood for close work, or both in Turbo |
| Side Utility Light | 10 ambient effects + 3 warning modes | Usually none | Side light for camp glow and roadside signaling |
| Thermal Protection | Head-to-body thermal isolation + active temperature regulation | Body dissipation only | Helps keep the grip comfortable and steps down output when hot |
| Mounting Utility | Magnetic tailcap + 2-way deep-carry clip | Standard clip | Stick to steel, clip to a pocket or cap brim, or stand it on a bench |
Intuitive UI & Controls

Tested & rated
Lumen and runtime figures are measured under standardized lab conditions. The SZ3 is IPX6 water-jet tested and drop-tested from 1 m onto concrete.
Sealed with silicone O-rings and a USB-C port cover. IPX6-rated for protection against powerful water jets from any direction. Not designed for submersion. Keep the port cover closed.
The aluminum body was drop-tested from 1 m onto concrete at 6 angles. Lens alignment and switches kept working after testing.
Built-in sensors monitor core temperature and step output down during long high-output use to help manage heat. Head-to-body thermal isolation helps keep the grip comfortable.
BATTERY INDICATOR
The side light shows your remaining charge by color and bar length, so you know when to recharge before a job gets interrupted.
Below about 10%, the main beam blinks 3 times and the side light blinks red until you connect USB-C.
The side light shows a red marquee while charging. It turns solid green when fully charged.
Moonlight, Low, and Medium modes stay available on USB-C power.
Indicator shows approximate charge, not exact runtime.
