As the listing states these are simple on-off flashlights, hard to find anymore. No multi power modes, no flashing modes, no SOS signaling mode -- just a clean on-and -off.
The light is very bright, and the included battery is rechargeable on a separate recharging station. These seem to be the same standard battery used in a number of similar flashlights, so it might be possible to substitute ones from the same power rating, or acquire additional ones although we do not know.
The holster is rigid, and it does adjust to a number of belt sides of his manually, so once it is adjusted it will fit that belt but not necessarily another without taking it apart of it and readjusting it. Because it is rigid, it can be a little bit awkward if it is positioned in the wrong spot when sitting in a vehicle. Also, the listing shows that the holster can be rotated, but so far the only way to accomplish that has been to take the light out of the holster and use a screwdriver To loosen the pivot point. I have not yet found the sweet spot, if there is one, between so loose it won't stay tilted and so tonight it cannot be adjusted. As a compromise I have chosen an angle of about 45 degrees to the ground which allows me to carry it without too much fear of dropping it, especially when it's clicked in; To sit with less interference with sitting in a vehicle, and with one click turn on a light that is shining from my waist to the ground a couple of feet in front of me or a surface in front of me. (Since one main reason for turning it on would be to illuminate a space where one is standing or a job one is working on, this is a reasonable compromise for me.)
