I am a fan of the UltraFire brand because they consistently offer high quality products that work well and offer great value. The LW20X Pro is just another flashlight in their product line that continues to uphold UltraFire’s standards. This particular flashlight highlights one major feature… a long throw. Even though it has half the lumins as other flashlights, its flashlight head and reflector design concentrates its light output into a narrow focused beam that travels a thousand meters… that’s over 10 football fields to put it into perspective. Instead of writing more, I put some effort into taking some photos that can really show what I’m so impressed with. As with other UltraFire flashlights, the body, lens, LED, battery and switches are high quality built to last and what you’d come to expect from UltraFire. Another feature I’ve come to prefer is simplicity. Yes, a flashlight that offers many features (often at the expense of having to remember double clicks, long presses, and multiple switches) catches my eye and if I’m find myself in an unanticipated situation then these multi function flashlights are great. But practically speaking, I typically know what my lighting needs will be so I will choose the flashlight that best fits, meaning operational simplicity has been my preference. The LW20X Pro just has a single tail switch that controls on and off.

On to the photos… I did a side by side comparison with an old favorite of mine, the UltraFire WF-502BX which has a1000 lm (twice the lumins), a 211 m throw, and a 11,200 candela (the intensity of a directional focused beam). The 1st photo is of the 2 flashlights pointed straight up into the night’s sky on their respective brightest setting. It clearly shows the beam patterns, the LW20X Pro seems to go higher but on a very narrow beam. The WF502BX has a wider beam that spreads out but doesn’t go as high. The next several pictures show them pointed at trees/vegetation where again you can see how bright (but narrow) the LW20X is comparatively.

Lastly but significant, this is really a 2 flashlight set and a keychain flashlight is included. This little light is not the spotlight but it really is great and can steal the spotlight. I guess this little light fills the role of an EDC that is just for close range thus complementing and completing your lighting needs. It even has a screen to display the percentage of battery remaining… in a keychain light! It’s well made and durable and bright and I’m confident this would be popular if sold solo.

In summary, if you have lighting needs that require a long throw (high candela) then the LW20X Pro is a must. It is very well done and I highly recommend it.

I love this flashlight! I got it as a Christmas gift for my son because, really, **who doesn't love a great flashlight?** Apparently flashlights are one of those things you can already own five of and still get excited when someone hands you a better one.

The first thing that impressed me was how **bright** it is. This isn't your little “find the keys under the couch” flashlight. The beam is strong, focused and reaches an impressive distance, so I can see it being genuinely useful outdoors, around property, camping, emergencies, or anytime you need to see more than six feet in front of you.

I also really like that it's rechargeable with USB-C. No hunting through the junk drawer hoping somebody didn't steal the last batteries. The single-mode operation is another plus for me. Sometimes I just want a flashlight to turn ON—I don't need to cycle through high, medium, low, strobe, SOS and disco party mode first.

The flashlight itself feels sturdy and well made, and the tail switch is easy to operate. It has a substantial feel without being ridiculously bulky.
