Although this flashlight is marketed primarily for hunting, I found it incredibly useful for an entirely different purpose. My grandparents live on a large property situated in the foothills of the mountains, where it's common to see deer, coyotes, birds, and a variety of other wildlife after sunset. It turned out to be an ideal setting to really see what this flashlight is capable of.

The first thing that I found impressive was just how far the beam reaches. It illuminated trees, fencing, trails, and movement hundreds of feet away with surprising clarity. It made it possible to observe the animals from a comfortable distance without disturbing them or intruding on their "safe space".

Another selling point is the durable construct, made of strong, quality aluminum with a textured grip so that holding it for longer periods of time can be done so with comfort and control.

Being that this is not a typical household flashlight, it's understandable that it has some weight to it as it houses a high-capacity rechargeable battery, but it's not what I'd consider to be substantially heavy.

Conveniently, it comes with a USB-C charger that does a fine job keeping a strong charge for extended periods of time. I'd say it's safe to say that if used consistently on the medium to low brightness settings, you could get about 8 hours to an easy full day on the lowest setting and it's nice not to have the extra weight or expense for keeping additional batteries on hand.

The red, green, and blue filters are a nice addition and allow you to adapt the light depending on your surroundings and preferences. I also liked that the controls are straightforward and easy to learn, without having to constantly cycle through confusing settings.

The included pressure switch and mounting hardware are clearly intended for those who have a specific use for them, but even if you never install the accessories, the flashlight performs exceptionally well on its own.

Overall, I think this is a well-built, high-quality flashlight that offers excellent brightness, impressive range, and reliable battery life. While it's designed with hunters in mind, I found it equally valuable for wildlife observation, checking large properties, camping, and anyone who spends time outdoors after dark. If you're looking for a durable long-range flashlight rather than an everyday pocket light, this one is definitely worth considering for anyone wanting to observe animals after nightfall or other outside activities.

This light beat all expectations. The green lens lights up over 3 acres. The view through a scope is very clear at night.
